Veterans Court

The Albany County Drug Court also utilizes a Veteran’s Track model which allows for Veteran’s of the armed forces to partake in the same program as Drug Court.  These veterans are also afforded the help of the Office of Veteran Affairs and are assigned mentors through the VA who assist them in their treatment programs and guide those participants through the Drug Court program.  As of January 2012 there are 12 veterans participating in the Albany County Drug Court Program.
