ALBANY, NY – The Office of the Albany County District Attorney and Albany Barn, Inc. are pleased to announce the winners of the 2015 Building Communities Youth Art Contest. All winners attend school in Albany County and created artwork that portrayed their vision of what a strong, beautiful community means to them.

Winning artwork will be displayed until April 11th at Albany Barn Main Stage located at 56 Second Street in Albany, NY.

The winning artwork will then be hung for display at the Office of the Albany County District Attorney’s Community Justice Outreach Center, a community space located at 155 Clinton Ave, Albany and open to the public Monday through Friday between 9:00am and 5:00pm. The Community Justice Outreach Center also provides the public with the space and resources for employment, educational, and community oriented needs.

Of the many students who participated from five different school districts in Albany County, two winners and one honorable mention from both the High School and Middle School age groups were selected by the Judges, who included District Attorney Soares and members of the Albany Barn Board of Directors.
